Whether you want to learn the basic skating skills or practise the axel jump, you can find a suitable adult skating group among HTA’s versatile adult skating classes. Our popular adult figure skating classes are tailored precisely to the starting points and needs of adults.
Adults beginner’s class
The beginner’s class is intended for those who have almost no previous experience in figure skating. The class focuses on the basics of skating and getting a feel for the ice, introducing skating in a safe and encouraging environment.
Adults 1
In the Adults 1 group, the focus is on the basics of skating and improving skating skills. The group is suitable for adults who have been skating for a while and are ready to practice turns and basic spins to enhance their basic skating skills.
Adults 2
In the Adults 2 group, skaters continue improving their basic skating skills and also progress to more difficult movements such as jumps and spins. The group is suitable for adults who have skated for a while and can practice single jumps.
Adults 3
Adults 3 is an active group where all aspects of skating are practiced: jumps, spins, steps, and spirals. The group is suitable for adults who have been skating for a few years and are looking for new challenges in their training. Skaters joining the group should have mastered single jumps and basic spins and be ready to practice the Axel jump
Adults 4
Adults 4 is the most advanced group, offering challenges in all areas of skating: jumps, spins, steps, and glides. This group is aimed at adults with more experience in skating and who practice double jumps. Skaters joining the group should have mastered basic steps, all single jumps, and basic spins
Adults program ice/independent technique ice
On this ice you can build and practice competition programs and focus on independent technique training. The coach will be present and you can ask her tips and advice if you wish but there will be no planned training program during this ice.
Prices
In addition to the training fee (autumn season or spring season), a club membership fee of 45 € covering the entire 2025-2026 season is added to the price.
Remember to get a skating licence! The club does not insure adult skaters, so make sure that your insurance covers figure skating.
The season will consist of 16 skating lessons and the autumn season will start 1st of September 2025. The prices of groups are listed in the table below. If a skater registers to several groups, a skater will get 10 % discount on the price of the cheaper group.
